Back from Burundi
I had never been in an airport hearing calls for flights to Zanzibar and Dubai.  

But there I was in the Nairobi airport awaiting my connecting flight to Bujumbura, Burundi.  

Burundi is a small 3rd world country in the heart of Africa that is finally emerging from over a decade of civil war.  

A call for help.  I received an email from an AG evangelism team who was planning a crusade.  They were asking for help from IMM to broadcast the services on the government owned TV station in Burundi.  Not just that, the station was crying out for programming.  On the air for just 6 hours a day, they said, what ever IMM could provide they would immediately begin to broadcast.

This is what IMM is all about.  With no time to lose, I made plans, secured a visa and immunizations and scheduled my flight to Burundi.  For 6 days I assisted in the broadcast production of the crusade services.  They aired each night in prime-time (5-6pm).  

The audience reached about 2000 during the meetings, and over 200 people received Christ.

African perspective.  Of the millions in Burundi, the vast majority of TV owners get one channel.  This was the channel we were on.

I also had the privilege of hand delivering hours of evangelistic programming produced by IMM to the general manager of the station.  

Another goal was to form a connection with the local church pastor and the TV station to pave the way for IMM to assist in training nationals in Bujumbura to produce their own programs.

Power Packed Production Schedule
The past 5 months proved to be the most demanding yet productive of our whole first term.  Multiple video projects were made and released as a result of many 12-14 hour work days.  

We are glad to announce that the 7 part video "Parables of Jesus" is now complete and ready for broadcast.  It is distributed in the USA through Vision Video.
