Keep Us on the Field! ~
Though we are due to return on furlough next summer (2005), we’ve been seeking the Lord to stay on the field one extra year before we return.  IMM is desperate to have us here.  Director, John Merrell, has personally asked us to stay.  Our current team is very small, and I alone have the technical knowledge to keep the whole production department in operation. However, we have been short on monthly support and have gone several months of our first term under-funded..

Miraculously, without us mentioning anything, a supporter has come forward to say, “We want to insure that you have the monthly support to go an extra year.”

So, if our current supporters remain faithful in giving, all we need according to our regional director is an additional $9,000 for our cash budget to make up for our current short-fall, and to have the required reserves for an additional year.

IMM Activities ~

The last several months have been jam packed with production.  The IMM team has just released “part two” of the Bible stories video project “People Who Met Jesus”.
This two DVD series of short scripts tells the stories of 16 different people who met the Master. 

Created as biblical costume dramas, "People Who Met Jesus" has been an epic production achievement.  Each story is told in a narrative style, allowing for easy language translation. The series is already licensed and broadcast in 13 languages. Our broadcast partners focus their use in the many Muslim countries of North Africa.  Take a peek at the "Photo Gallery" and the "video trailer" for this great series.

Last month, we produced a DVD project for a missionary partner in Holland as a tool of outreach to a huge “skater” population in the city where his team is planting a church.

The DVD contains footage of the local kids, with personal interviews, and ends with a gospel challenge to steer their lives to the Lord.  It is an inventive way of taking a church service right to their computer or DVD player.  And it’s working.  (go to page two)
