We
have been in San Jose, Costa Rica since Aug. 27 having just completed
our first trimester of language school. Most of you are aware that
with the relocation of the head- quarters of International Media Ministries to Spain comes the need to learn Spanish. For more info on the move click here. Though we are full-time students we are thrilled to be a part of the ministry of a new church called Comunidad Cristiana Celebracion, lead by our dear missionary friends, Steve & Debbie Alsup. It's thrilling to see individuals coming to the Lord every week. The church has also given us the tremendous privilege of making many "Tico" Spanish speaking friends. |
Language learning presents
enormous challenges, but we see steady progress, and are greatly blessed
by the extraordinary staff of maestros at the school.
I [Michael] will be making a two week trip to Brussels in April of 2003 to assist IMM with the many details of the move to Madrid, then I'll return to Costa Rica for our final trimester of language. The trip will give me my first chance to meet the IMM team, face to face. |
