Good News
We are eager to report that our one-year extension has been approved and we are staying on the field.  Thanks to the gracious and generous response from several of our supporting churches, and from many individuals, sufficient funds were raised to allow for this extra time.  We do realize that this extension is itself a great work of God based on our circumstances, and so we are truly grateful to those who responded. 

If you had intended to give, please do.  We met our requirement by the skin-of-our-teeth, and a bit more margin would be a great blessing to us.  Our acct # 250620.

So... we now plan for our first furlough to begin July 2006. 

Pastors, you can expect to hear from us this coming fall as we start assembling an itinerary of services.  If you wish, we’d be glad to schedule a meeting with you even now.  Our furlough year will be July 2006 – August 2007.

Happening Right Now
We have exciting news to report –
The two part video series IMM just released last fall, “People Who Met Jesus,” is now making its way into two more language groups.  Already licensed in 13 languages, we are thrilled to report that it will soon be used in house churches in North Vietnam and broadcast in Turkey.

Each DVD contains eight dramatized biblical stories of personal encounters with Jesus (16 stories in all).  Each story is told with dramatic narrative making it easily adaptable to any language. 

This same approach is used in our new series “The Parables” currently in production.  These parables come to life in period accurate costume and context.  Great stories like “the prodigal son”, “the good Samaritan” and others.

New Property for IMM
Right now we work from our temporary facilities in Madrid, but right next door we've purchased land to build new studios.  We invite your prayer as we launch in to this new phase of preparation for the future.

Urgent Prayer Issue
God made it clear to us that we were to seek to extend our first term.  We have, of course, followed through carefully with the required procedure to renew our residency visas (a routine, but very daunting task).  My residency was renewed first, like normal.  However, due to a troublesome delay and due to an error in the government’s handling of our papers, Dawn Marie’s and our children’s renewals were denied.

This has plunged us, unsuspectingly, into the throws of a very difficult judicial battle.  We are at this very hour facing a $500 cost of filing an official appeal to halt the process that would eventually lead to the deportation of my wife and kids. We may also face further legal proceedings. 

We are urgently praying and fasting that this initial appeal will bring the needed resolution to the matter.  PLEASE PRAY WITH US.  Satan is definitely trying to use this problem to dishearten us and weigh us down.  We need your prayer.
